Hello there! I’m Vicki.
I’m a product designer born and raised in the Bay Area, now a Los Angeles transplant.
Before diving into the world of design, I started my career in brand and digital marketing on the agency side as a media strategist. I’ve worked on traditional and digital campaigns for Google Nest and Portal by Facebook. This trained me to think about how data can be used to optimize audiences and marketing performance in a full-funnel approach.
While the two fields sound like opposite sides of a spectrum, both product design and marketing share common characteristics that I think are fundamental to design, understanding human behavior, and dusting a sprinkle of creativity. A lot of what I’ve learned in my past life as a marketer has been brought into the design process and it’s exciting to be able to create tangible products that users are eager to use and that can make an impact.
Outside of design, you can find me exploring new restaurants, and coffee spots, sometimes hiking, and recently dabbling in digital drawings with Procreate (a few of my drawings below).
